This year Constitution Hill’s Human Rights Festival will highlight the role of young people in social movements, their commitment to global human rights and their determination to  bring change to the world.

The Festival showcases the work of social justice organisations and explores human rights issues through exhibitions, film, poetry, performing arts, music dialogues and debates. It provides a platform to engage with human rights issues in both the South African and global contexts. More specifically, the Festival promotes the critical importance of an active citizenry in the realisation and protection of these human rights.
